Summaries of the major cultural groups (the Mogollon, Hohokam, Sinagua, and Ancestral Puebloan) visited by our heroes, Long Legs and Little Basket, are presented in this guide, providing important back- ground information.

The guide is set up with the intention of having the teacher, parents, or students read a chapter each day. Discussion questions, research topics, individual and group activities, references, and places to visit are provided for each chapter.
